There should never be a given time where someone can and can't eat sushi. Still, I feel like a freak for busting it out in the middle of the university library. This is the same library where you can find students sleeping on the couches mid-studying during finals week as well as the breeding ground for obnoxiously inconsiderate ghetto staff. I know all of this is a bit off topic from sushi but what i am getting at here is that this is my second home and i have, over the two years i have been here, come to learn the dynamics of this ecosystem. Here are some examples of what I mean:
I. When studying for your most important exam, the loudest people just so happen to be working.
II. If you try to get away from the main area noise and sit in the back, there are always two guys sitting at different tables talking to each other or actually talking OVER each other.
III. Remember that person you've tried to forget? Yeah, they're probably walking in right now as you look up from your work.
IV. Your best friend is studying on the third floor.
VI. That hot kid in your science class will most definitely overhear you say something embarrassing while you're sitting with your friends.
VII. There is always someone eavesdropping.
By the way, that someone eavesdropping is probably me. No matter how hard i am trying to concentrate on my work or listening to a friend, my ears always wonder do every table around me. Sometimes i feel like a satillite dish picking up a far off signal of unimportant information from a complete stranger. I guess i might be a creep but i feel as if i have some form of ADD, unable to concentrate for a period of time and just jumping from conversation to conversation.
